The Villa is a new property built in the traditional Greek Island style. Positioned on a hillside beneath the ruined castle of the Knights of St. John, it commands serene panoramic views of the tranquil, thyme-scented hills and valleys of this idyllic island.

Less than 2 miles away is the sheltered, sandy beach of Eristos Bay, whilst 300 metres down the lane is the sleepy village of Megalo Chorio, providing shops and tavemas and friendly local inhabitants.

Wander up and down the narrow stepped streets, visit the picturesque churches, or climb up to the ruined castle, built in the past to resist pirates.

The villa offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living-room and separate kitchen, and can sleep up to 8. There is a large roof terrace, a sunny veranda, and one of the bedrooms has a balcony overlooking Eristos Bay. There is a shared swimming-pool, measuring 10 x 6 metres, with ample sunbathing area, a spacious garden and a BBQ.

A maid service is provided, with fresh bed linen and towels twice a week.

The island offers excellent walking, to hidden beaches, hillside monasteries and an abandoned village, this is where an all-night disco is held during the summer.

There is also a cave to visit which contains bones of Mastodons, dwarf elephants that lived on Tilos many years ago. More bones are on display at the museum in Megalo Chorio.

A varity of beautiful birds spend summer on Tilos, including the Golden Oriole, the Bee-eater, Hoopoe, Roller and Little Owl. Occasionally, a pair of Eleanora's Falcons may be seen soaring above the ruined castle.
